1. Super Cruise
Get Super Cruise, and regular driving feels ancient. It’s a driver-assist system that lets you go hands-free, thanks to sensors, cameras, GPS, and precision mapping. It even keeps your distance from the car ahead. As of 2025, you’ve got 750,000 miles of North American roads to use it on.
Note that this is a hands-free system, not an eyes-off one. Your eyes, and more importantly, your attention, still matter. If you look away for too long, say, to check your phone, the system will cut out with a warning. For trailer users, Super Cruise offers hands-free trailering. When you hitch up, it auto-adjusts for the added weight, size, and turning radius.
2. ProGrade Trailering System
GMC vehicles bring serious strength, but they also bring brains, starting with the ProGrade Trailering System. This setup offers hitch assists and 14 camera views, including one that allows you to see what’s behind your trailer.
You’ll also get an app built right into the dash. It remembers your different towing setups, tracks mileage, and flags any issue with lights or brakes before they become a problem.
3. Premium GMC Infotainment Center
GMC hasn’t slowed down in the past couple of years. With the all-new Acadia, Hummer EV SUV, Sierra EV, and major refreshes to the Yukon and the Terrain, the lineup’s looking sharp for 2024 and 2025. A key addition to all of them: the Premium GMC Infotainment Center.
Screen size changes by model, but you’re getting a high-end experience either way. On the 2025 Terrain, that means a 15-inch portrait-style screen with wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, voice controls, and optional Google built-in. You can even split the screen to run up to three views at once. That’s directions, vehicle info, and playlists sorted all at once.
4. GMC Pro Safety and Pro Safety Plus
Your cabin is a comfortable place to be, and a safe one, too, thanks to GMC Pro Safety and Pro Safety Plus. These two safety aids help you see more (with tools like HD Surround Vision and the rear camera mirror), stay sharp (with alerts for collisions, lane changes, and cross traffic), and avoid accidents (using emergency braking, lane assist, and pedestrian detection).
